Laura is an experienced educator, college advisor, and communications professional with a passion for empowering students through personalized mentorship and creative educational programming. Holding an honors degree in English with a Secondary in Education Studies from Harvard University, Laura also completed coursework at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and worked at the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning as an undergraduate, deepening her expertise in innovative teaching and learning strategies.

As a former Senior Advisor for U.S. News and World Report, Laura has guided students through the college admissions process, crafting compelling application narratives, personalized college lists, and essay strategies to help students reach their academic goals.

With a background in tutoring through Harvard Student Agencies and as a Teaching Artist with the American Repertory Theater, Laura has developed and taught engaging curricula for diverse student populations K-12 with a focus on tailoring lesson plans to individual student needs. Laura is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and achieve success, whatever their definition may look like.

Professionally, Laura is the Executive Director of an arts, media, and entertainment nonprofit providing resources, programming, and more to aspiring artists. She is also a freelance writer and copy editor, and she enjoys creative writing, pottery, and playing bridge on the side.
